Terms of Use

Last updated 16 October 2026. These terms apply to your use of magikbooks.com ("Magik Books"), operated by Turquoise Era ([trading name and ABN to be confirmed]), New South Wales, Australia.

Your account

You must give a real email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

Your content

You own your books. You give us permission to store, display and deliver them as needed to run the service, including showing a published book to anyone with its link. You promise that you own, or have permission to use, everything you put in a book, and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights.

What you may not do

No unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory or sexually explicit content; nothing that sexualises children or promotes violence against people; no malware, scams or impersonation; no attempts to break, overload or scrape the service. We may unpublish content or close accounts that break these terms.

Free accounts and the Lifetime Membership

Creating books is free. The Lifetime Membership is a one-off payment of AUD $47 (or the price shown at checkout) that unlocks the premium templates, monetisation links, branding removal, downloadable ebook files and unlimited books. "Lifetime" means for as long as Magik Books operates. If we ever close the service we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your books. Features and templates may be added or improved over time.

Payments are processed by Stripe through shop.tqera.com. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. [Mike: set the refund window you wish to offer, for example 14 days, no questions asked.]

Sienna

Sienna is an AI guide. Her answers can be wrong, and she is not a counsellor, doctor, lawyer, accountant or financial adviser. Do not rely on her for professional advice. If you or someone else is in danger, contact emergency services (000 in Australia).

Earnings

We provide tools only. We make no promise that any book will sell or earn money, and we do not take a share of what you earn from your books.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep Magik Books running and your books safe, so please keep your own copy of your writing. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
