A book is the oldest kind of magik.
Magik Books exists for one reason: every person has a story worth telling, and too many are never told because the tools are expensive, fiddly or intimidating.
So we made a free ebook creator that turns your words into a real, page-turning book, with a cover, chapters and a reader that feels like holding the thing in your hands. No design skills. No software to install. No gatekeepers.
Who is behind it
Magik Books is made by Mike King, author of the Lord of Water trilogy, property developer and founder of Turquoise Era in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.
[Mike: a short paragraph in your own words about why you built this, and what writing has meant to you.]
The same page-turning technology powers the flipbook reader on lordofwater.com. Magik Books opens it up to everyone.
What we believe
Always trust yourself. It is the one precept behind everything at Turquoise Era. The story you are looking for is already inside you; our job is to give it a beautiful home.
Free, and fair
Creating books is free. The Lifetime Membership is a single payment of $47 that unlocks the premium template collection and the tools for sharing and selling your ebook your own way. We want authors to keep what they earn: there is no subscription, and no cut taken from your sales.
